Vicky White (c. 1966 – May 9, 2022) was an American corrections officer who served as Assistant Director of Corrections at the Lauderdale County Detention Center in Florence, Alabama. She gained national notoriety in April 2022 when she helped convicted murderer Casey White (no relation) escape from jail on what was supposed to be her last day before retirement. Using her position, she signed him out for a fake mental health evaluation, and the pair went on the run for 11 days. White, who had reportedly developed a close personal relationship with the inmate, sold her house and planned the escape. On May 9, 2022, during a police chase in Evansville, Indiana, she died by suicide after a crash.
